Studio Policies

3 PRIVATE SESSIONS are required prior to taking Group Pilates Apparatus Classes.

Q: What are Pilates Apparatus Classes?
A: Any group class utilizing the reformer, tower, jumpboard, & chair

And since all of these classes are level specific, the 3 private sessions allow us to determine which class level is best for you. It is important to understand that although the majority of clients are able to move directly into group classes after their 3 private sessions, this is not the case for everybody. Your instructor does reserve the right to require additional private sessions from you prior to taking Pilates Apparatus Classes.

Q: I have prior experience on the Pilates Apparatus. Do I need to take the 3 Private Sessions?
A: Yes. Because every studio has its own style of teaching, equipment, and class level system, it is in the best interest and safety of our clients & instructors that all new clients, regardless of prior Pilates experience, take 3 Private Sessions.

Q: Are private sessions required prior to taking Pilates Mat or Yoga classes?
A: No. Since Pilates Mat & Yoga classes are open level and do not utilize apparatus, we do not require private sessions prior to taking these classes.
